Tracking YouTube engagement

Tr.im gives you the ability to track what happens to Youtube links that are the destination of your trimmed URLs. You can track Youtube engagement by wrapping the links into the HTML code Youtube provides to embed videos.

To do so, first you need to grab the code for your Tr.im link by clicking on 'Show embed code.'

In the popout window select any options that you require for your video. Below we've opted to enable autoplay and to hide suggestions of related videos when the user has seen our video.

Then grab your code by clicking on the copy icon.

The Youtube embed code contains all of the options that you've selected. Paste the video wherever you would like the video to appear.

Any user clicking on to the video is then captured and placed in the video engagement audience, showing in Tr.im analytics any clicks, shares, geo and device information.
